Tribute the World’s Greatest Rock’n’Roll Band, The Rolling Stones.

The Stoners are led by their Italian-American singer and joined by a group of Italian musicians who have decades of experience under their belts. Most of them grew up listening to the Stones while Jagger and co. were in there hey-day and at the peak of their musical careers. For this reason, The Stoners have no difficulty in creating the RollingStoniano (as they say in Italian) feeling both from the first period (1964-1969) and their most recent recordings and tours. This said, The Stoners give to their audience a wonderful and faithful interpretation both musically and visually that marked then and marks now the concerts of the mythical Rolling Stones. Following is a short summary of the band:

THE STONERS are The Roman Rolling Stones tribute band, playing since 2002. The band plays regularly in the Italian capital but also in all parts in the North and South of Italia.
WHY: Because the music of the last 40 years is divided into 2 genealogical trees: on one side a group from Liverpool, which paved the way for many groups, producing melodic and “well mannered” music. On the other side, there was the creation of the ROLLING STONES, from which all other groups and music genres evolved, making history, and most importantly, the history of Rock’n’Roll.
HOW: With grint, passion and respect for those “bad boys” who were merely teen-agers when they began this adventure in 1962.
WHO: The present formation of THE STONERS is the classic one: 2 guitars, bass, drums, piano/keyboard (on the songs which featured it in the original Rolling Stones recording) and vocalist.
